Sweet and Sour Chicken Recipe:
Ingredients:
- Chicken breast, 500g, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Cornflour, 100g
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into chunks
- 1 onion, cut into chunks
- 1 pineapple, cut into chunks
For the Sauce:
- 3 tablespoons ketchup
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 150ml water
- 1 teaspoon cornflour, mixed with 2 tablespoons water
Instructions:
- Prepare Chicken: Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Dip each piece into the beaten egg, then coat with cornflour.
- Fry Chicken: Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry chicken pieces until golden and crispy. Drain on kitchen paper.
